Plugins are a totally uncontrollable and unpredictable means of enhancing
functionality of a certain application? They most important properties are:
(1) They are optional, (2) and they can be uninstalled without detriment to
the application itself and potential other plugins. Thus, we cannot make
predictable assumption about them.

This thread is not about consistency. It even discussed the introduction of a
new kind of toolbar button.

This is the fault of the distro. I'm sure Lindows won't install cervisia, and
most real distros either for their default setup (if they strive towards
"user friendlyness"). If the user installs everything and the kitchen sink,
he is at fault. I have never understood why people do this, and then complain
about crammed menues/toolbars.
