Hello List,

I noticed the following problems with the current System Notifications KCM:

1) The custom listview widget not only looks awkward because of the
first 6 rows which only contain a tiny icon, but also the behavior is
pretty unique in that when you enable the first column on one of the
rows the bottom of the dialog will suddenly display more options and'll
have the 'Execute a program' checkbox selected.

2) the "Actions" groupbox only displays "Play a sound" by default -
wrong wording and quite a few options are hidden despite not saving any
space if the user uses the listview to select anything other than the
sound column (nitpicking)

3) "More Options" hides options that are somewhat made accessible using
the listview - repeating myself here, see 1.

4) the "Quick Controls" don't really give a good sense of what they do.

5) The "Event source" dropdown is easily overlooked due to the listview.

The mockup changes the following:

- Add some explanatory text
- Put the Events and Actions side by side to make things more
comprehensible. Hopefully this way the user has direct access to all
possible notification types and it's not too overwhelming.
- Remove the "Apply to all applications" and use a radiobox instead to
make it apparent that by default the actions apply to the select event
source only.

It's just a mockup, incase someone needs some inspiration.

   - William
