I can not agree on this. What you see is a progress dialog, which normally is 
only opened when something takes too long.
And if this dialog pops up only by chance, I want to go it away automatically.

This would mean, that nearly 99% of all cases (at least for me) will need an 
additional click - that's not an improvement.
