Many many more. It depends on the client's capabilities.

Hmm, let's put it that way: Those who are using ICQ are used to the current 
semantics and will oppose having them go away. The reasoning for the others 
is analogically inverse.

Maybe the protocol should define whether Ctrl+Enter or Enter sends a message 
(ICQ: Ctrl+Enter, others: Enter).
