Hello,
The default forward action in Kmail used to be "Forward Inline", it changed to
"Forward as Attachment" in kde 3.1 if I'm not mistaken. By default I mean the
one you get by clicking the forward button.
IMO "Forward as Attachment" as default promotes bad style. I'm sure many of
you had the pleasure of recieving mails with an attachment with an attachment
with an attachment with an attachment with an attachment with an attachment
(...). You get the picture. I'd say that for most situations "forward inline"
is the appropriate one, so it should be default.

I really think this kind of report should have a short period of life - it's
about standards and users get used to whatever choice is made. If it makes
sense it should be discussed and decided, and either "Fixed" or maked as
"Won't Fix". This was reported in January this year...
