Is this really needed? At school, I use KDE 3.1.3 in a 800x600 screen. and I 
haven't done any kind of special configuration (and also not my school, since 
it was I that installed KDE there...)

But these problems, if common, should be solved.  Perhaps the default window 
theme should automatically resize depending on screen resolution and font 
size.

Do you have any more issues with your setup?
