If you do this, can we *please* restore KControl to the K menu by default?
Without the tree, people doing user support lose the only remaining method
of directing people to KControl modules.

A search won't cut it on a translated desktop. People can look at the tree
and find the right thing, but with a search they can't *guess* what
translation was used.

Yeah, they're showing *maturity* as over the years useful options have been
added. All these years of bugs.kde.org pay off. Don't toss that aside.
