hmmm, if the arrow is e.g. a button I'm pretty sure he will.

We are talking about providing a default without making the alternatives
too difficult to reach. So most users won't use the arrow often.
e.g. if a user moves one file to trash the probability that he deletes
the next one is imho < 5%

He needn't, as the menu item shows the default. e.g. "Remove (delete)"
or "Remove (Move to Trash)"
