Good job, far tidier and more logical than the old one :)

One thought on making it tidier yet: the "solid background" checkbox could be 
removed in favour of having a "no fill" option in the colour selection widget, 
with "no fill" as default... this is how wordprocessors tend to do it, so it's 
familiar, and does handily simplify te bottom of the dialog.
