"Can be implemented in noatun" and "Would ever be even considered to be
implemented in noatun by it's author and maintainer" are not the same thing.

Kaboodle lets me quickly open one single file. I don't have to add it to a
playlist, I don't have to save the playlist I've got to somewhere, make a new
playlist, add the file I want to play, (by now I usually forget why I wanted
to play it in the first place). Or worse, lose the playlist in noatun
entirely, because it's cleared and replaced by a playlist of one file, then
hope I saved the old playlist, and go find it, and load it up again.

I often want to play one file, one time, immediately. Kaboodle fulfills that,
noatun does not. A one shot player is a really handy thing once you're used
to it.

Yes. Why can't I be able to fire off "kaboodle ~/somefile" in alt+f2 minicli,
or from a terminal. If it's a part only, I'll have to find something that
embeds it, start that, navigate to the file I want to hear. That would not
be at all convenient.

Why should I only be able to start kaboodle from konqueror? Why can't I have
it as a standalone *and* from Konqueror.
