i use the best application there is available for playing dvds if that's what 
you mean. i quite like the nvtvd functionality, the navigability of encrypted 
dvds and the allowance for ac3/dts passthrough to my external decoder.

correct me if i'm wrong (as i'm sure you will anyway), but does kaboodle offer 
any significant improvement over noatun? what's more could this not simply be 
implemented into noatun?

and the crucial point: does this functionality _require_ kaboodle to be:

a) an application and not just a part

or

b) startable from the app-centric k-menu and not just from konq
