Integrated file-viewing and web-browsing with Internet Explorer.
Usability-wise, it's great. Monopolistically, it's a springboard for attack
on Netscape :-(.

Integrated file-viewing and web-browsing with Konqueror? It's a dynamite
combination (Nautilus, here's your clue!)

We can get "free all-volunteer usability labs" from eager Linux user groups.
We standardize the testing procedures and provide them with KDE apps fresh
from CVS. Get them to test these apps on as many newbies as they can, graph
the statistics, compile observation reports, them communicate these to both
usability and app developers. Linux user groups in universities can be tapped
to do this. Universities have audio-visual equipment (cameras, etc..) they
can borrow for a very minimal cost (if not free), instead of contacting
"for-pay" commercial usability labs.

Remuneration can be made to them by giving them free-publicity in the KDE
contributors group.

Hope the above scheme is workable.

Regards,
Michael
