1) How can you justify having a feature that users don't understand thrown in 
front of them, on what should be considered "prime screen real estate" -- 
space that could be used to extend the taskbar, for example.  I think if it 
is to be kept, that actions should most definitely be disabled (I think we're 
mostly in agreement here), and that it should be made clear how to use it.  
Because I can't think of any way to accomplish the latter, I also support, 
unless somebody else has a better idea, removing it.  Only "power users" make 
real use of it, so why _waste_ screen space with something that 50% of users 
don't see?

2) I think everybody notices the actions.  As reason further to disable them, 
it's also not made terribly obvious to the user that they belong to klipper, 
so the user is left clueless in disabling them.
