Sorry if this is not specifically about your post, but recently I turned on 
KControl->Periphals->Mouse->Automatically select icons (with a delay of 1 
tick from the left), and thought something like "wow, it was right in front 
of our noses the whole time".

This is imho actually a very nice solution, because it feels very natural to 
just point at an icon and then be able to perform keyboard actions on it. 
One problem though: in file save dialogs, when you accidentally point your 
mouse at an existing file, its name will be entered in the file name edit 
box. The feature should probably not be used in any file dialog. There might 
be other places with similar problems.

What do you think? Would it be good to have this enabled by default?
