A few people have been saying that the box-drawing selection method doesn't 
work right in detailed view in konqi because sometimes there's no whitespace. 
This actually seems to only be a problem with the text view. In the detailed 
list with icons, there's a gap (albeit an 'invisible' one that I noticed 
because my cursor is set to change shape web-style) just after the filename. 
For some reason this doesn't appear in the text view.

This is all in KDE 3.0.0 (I don't get broadband til next month so no CVS for 
me!), I don't know if it's been changed, but I feel that if we could make the 
whitespace more visible and introduce it into the text view too, then it 
would solve at least one of single-click's problems.
