Yes,  your option a is very hard to missinterpret. The only problem is

I think that that dialog box also should contain a "Don't show this 
message agin message"
check box.

But then of course we have the problem of how this warning dialog should 
be turned on again.
Perhaps we could add a "Dialog" setting somwhere in the "Control Center"
