It's also nice to have kmix in the tray. Most people run multimedia 
applications (noatun, Xmms, xine) or preview audio/video files with embedded 
players in konqueror. Having the kmix in the tray saves us from fumbling 
around and getting lost in the application menu when the volume becomes loud 
for comfort.
