I think it sounds a little tricky from a user perspective. I would be a 
little surprised to be able to change global settings from this kscd 
config page. I'd rather know that the only place the global settings 
could change is the Control Centre.

At the moment kscd modifies the global SMTP server host (but not port). 
Does anyone think it's worth adding the ability to configure a global 
SMTP server in the Control Centre for consistency? (The underlying 
libraries already support this.) I'd rather leave it as it is for a 
while and see exactly what libkcddb brings...
