Greetings,

I didn't know whether I should post this here or to kde-devel, but since this
is related to the recent usability changes in the Kicker control module, I
eventually decided to go with this list.

These changes really are a great improvement, however, it is a shame that one
important aspect of usability was overlooked, and that is - support for
right-to-left languages. There is just a small problem in the Arrangement
tab, in which the 9 buttons that determine the position of the panel behave
the opposite of expected. There is no need to change KDE's language settings
to test this. You can just run the application with the --reverse argument,
and it should come up reversed, just like when using it with an RTL language.

I would have fixed this myself, but it seems to involve designer .ui files,
which I am not too familiar with, and I don't want to mess anything up...

Anyway, it would be great if this issue could be dealt with and taken into
account in the future when designing applications. Like I said, it's only a
matter of running your application with a certain argument and doing some
tests.

Regards.
