Why don't other OS/GUI configurations include weird, obscure things such as 
"Pixmap Cache"?  It's because it's something that, if you don't EXACTLY know 
what it is, you'd rather leave it alone.

How much does this affect performance?  Is a 640 Cache much different than a 
1024 cache?

If it isn't, I'd propose this as something to take out entirely, and leave it 
for power users to edit the .kde config files directly or something.

Of course if we do need to keep it in then a "Performance/Tuning" item would 
be a neat idea.
