It looks like a good idea. It would also help 'spruce' up the website a bit
too. :-)

Just one comment on the user levels thing. (I can't help myself...)

Another (big) problem with user levels is that users will be at different
levels for different features in an app, at the _same time_. For example, a
user may be expert at the search feature (regex etc), but know very little
about the spell checker. Trying to put users into one of n pigeon-holes will
always cramp them in some way.
