hello all...

well, after a couple of of the most INSANE weeks i've had the pleasure of
experience, i managed to find some hacking time today. the result is that the
kicker kcontrol compiles and works. there is still more to do, but i'd love
to get some feedback at this point. there are still some layout issues that
i'm not happy with and will continue to work on them this week... i've also
got to get the visual position widget in shape and merged...  there are also
some changes to kicker itself. the patches against CVS HEAD can be found at:

if there is demand for them, i can do screenshots as well.

still to do:
 o finishing the position tab w/the visual selector widget
 o cleaning up remaining layout issues
 o comprehensive what's this and tooltips
 o documentation
 o the extensions tab

anyone willing to help out on any of the above (well, except the first item.
no real way to help out w/that ATM) would be welcome...
