I already submitted this problem to Mickael Goffioul, maintener of kdeprint 
package but the issue remains open.

Weirdly, when an application uses a modified kprinter, with more options for 
example, it works. You can print in konqueror or Kwrite but not with Kprinter 
or Kmail.
