Is there a particular reason that qt-devel-docs and kdelibs-apidocs are
suddenly required by kdevelop-3.4.1-1.fc6? That's about 300MB of packages
that is just documentation. kdevelop-3.4.0-2.fc6 doesn't require these
packages.

Can we get that requires to be loosened a bit?

Andrew

I'm a little stumped myself and I must be missing something basic as
well. I've only recently started playing around with Beryl. I can tell
you is that yes, after exiting out of the beryl manager your settings
are preserved. Try playing with 3d effects. Did you choose an
appropriate theme from Aquarius theme manager?

At the moment, I'm away from my desktop, so I can't be much more help
right now. I will try to look into it further in the coming days and
let you know what I come up with.

OK...

I think I found the exact setting. In Wobbly Windows click on the advanced
setting tab. Expand move and then make sure that the Move Effect Check box
is Checked on.

Unfortunately, I have that option checked already.

I don't have an Aquarius theme manager, but I have Emerald theme
manager. I have not selected any themes nor have I changed any themes,
since I would like to keep my current theme but just have these
desktop effects on .... or are the themes necessary to have the
desktop effects on KDE ? ( Note that I did not have to change themes
in Gnome to get desktop effects working in Gnome ).

oops... I meant Emerald. Don't know why I wrote Aquarius. Must be old age
creeping in :).

In any case, the Beryl theme managers only handle the Windows decorations. Try
one. See if that helps.

Oh.... one other "dumb" question. In the Beryl manager, under select Windows
managers, you have selected Beryl?... right?...

Eli
