OK.. I never realised 3.5.5 was in stable
FYI I only have extras, and Livna, I also found the Fedora 3.5.4 to be
broken.. but only very briefly ran it.

Yep same thing was noticed here, I have (for now) rolled back to kde-redhats
3.5.4 and qt-3.3.6-13.1.fc6.kde and all is as it was in FC4

That sounds about the figure I had left over, FC4 > FC6 updated, I removed
them with no problems here,

Well it makes me feel better (not Rex though) that I am not the only one
seeing this, I'll keep digging around though. I really can't work out whats
causing this yet..

Time to dig around bugzilla.

Cheers

Message: 7

Hello

After my update from FC5 to FC6
I found there was a problem:

[~]$ rpm -q kdemultimedia-extras-nonfree
kdemultimedia-extras-nonfree-3.5.5-0.1.fc5
kdemultimedia-extras-nonfree-3.5.5-0.1.fc6

So I wanted to wipe the older one but this failed:

[~]$ sudo rpm -e kdemultimedia-extras-nonfree-3.5.5-0.1.fc5
/sbin/ldconfig: relative path `1' used to build cache
error: %postun(kdemultimedia-extras-nonfree-3.5.5-0.1.fc5.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 1

I used the noscripts parameter to get rid of it, but it seems the same
problem exists in the FC6 rpm, too:

[~]$ sudo rpm -e --nodeps kdemultimedia-extras-nonfree
/sbin/ldconfig: relative path `0' used to build cache
error: %postun(kdemultimedia-extras-nonfree-3.5.5-0.1.fc6.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 1

Argh. Do you mean its not needed, or doesn't exist, for some reason ?

I'm currently running FC5 and was thinking of going to FC6, however I need
knetworkmanager and on FC5 this needs dbus-qt ?

cheers Chris
