Updated to:
kdebase-3.5.3-9.1.fc4.kde

1. OK.. well good news, with DPMS activated in Peripherals > Display, but all
other options disabled the Screensavers now work and restart after the
timeout period fine, tested over the last few hours.

2. Setting DPMS OFF in Peripherals > Display results in a Blank Screen, but at
least it restarts after the timeout period everytime. So here option 1 is the
best for me.
I appreciate you building a new kdebase to test this Rex :)

Out off interest I have noticed a few Screensavers missing, openGL ones
and "Fireworks" eats VM and processor, I'll go looking in kde.bugs later on.

Thanks again

I have found the problematic package, I had another machine left which
does not show the behaviour. Installing packages one by one showed:
Jul 08 08:22:37 (yumex) Updated: kdelibs.i386 6:3.5.3-6.0.fc5.kde
Jul 15 07:09:34 (yumex) Updated: kdelibs.i386 6:3.5.3-7.0.fc5.kde

Then konqueror crashes.

Hth
Rainer
