Hi Eva,

your email seems to contain some skepticism about the KDE League,
which is probably caused by the low profile the KDE League has kept so
far. Not exactly what you would expect from a marketing organisation,
I agree. But as Andreas mentioned, setting up the league was for more
complicated, than we had expected. The change in the venture capital
markets put many of our members in financial problems, so they delayed
their payments quite a bit. We have most of the fees now, so we can
start making noise again. But besides cache, we also need more people
to help us. Andreas, Eirik and me both have full-time jobs that aren't
league related, so we are working on this in our already rare spare
time. Fortunately Andreas has found a way to spend more time on league
issues, but this is still not much for the many things we would like
to do.

I hope our emails explain the situation of the league a bit. If you
still have questions or like to help us with the league, feel free to
contact Andreas or me. You can even call me if you like, since things
are easier to explain on the phone. Just one caveat, I'll be taking a
2 week vacation starting on Tuesday. So Monday will be my last day in
the office. And I'm sure we will find some solution for
LinuxTag. Andreas, LinuxTag is the largest Linux event in Europe. I
guess we had this in the budget anyhow. Weren't you there last year?

Chris
