Neither. The KDE League _IS_ the set of big companies that want to support KDE.

What would an IBM/... executive care about our technical discussions ?
Or do you mean _this_ mailing list (promotion) ? I think it's easier for big 
companies to donate money than time.... They are on the kde-league mailing-list
but I don't expect them to be on more than that, for that reason.

It does. Rather, it is starting to. Up to very recently we had "potential members",
but none had paid yet, so... :)
Now that most companies have paid, apparently, we can get things rolling.

All those things you should discuss/suggest to kde-league-commitee@trolltech.com

As I see it, those things haven't happened before because there was no 
money AND nobody to care about that. Since there is money now, all that's 
missing is someone who takes the time to get those things rolling. If that
could be you (or anyone else on this list), then it'd be wonderful ;-)
