Hello all.

I thinkt he situation we are encountering with the dot is becoming a very big 
problem.
I would like to suggest,m that those of you, who are willing to host the dot 
submit all the necessary data to this list or somone you trust on here. I 
would be happy to take the information and then supply it towards (I think 
Andreas Pour?) in one big mail.
NO matter what we do, the dot (form my point of view) _must_   be moved, it 
is a cirtical part of kde and should be always up.

As far as I know, the dot is now using some wierd Zope install, which has 
proven itself to be pretty worthless (leaking memory for example), so the 
question is, if the dot should not be looked at and overhauled from scratch 
or at least ported to a more stable platform.

I know I am asking much, but the current downtime of the dot is hurting KDE 
badly, even the ones involved with it deeply are starting to get annoyed and 
their threshold ofr being "pissed off" is surely a bit higher than the 
average users
