Not unless you statically link just about everything in sight. Which probably
means you'll need a DVD to fit the binaries =P

Then don't. =)
At the price of starting a flame war: I'll say recommend debian. Why? It's
the only thing you can do without backing a specific vendor at the price of
the others. Debian is not vendor-backed, so you're not favorising a vendor
using it.
