I don't see any reason to throw away a perfect good costume.
For a number of reasons:
1. Looks like the roll out is going to take a while, if it happens at all.
2. Even if it is the older Konqui at events it is still konqui.
3.You enjoy the costume and so do others in the community.

I have just one thing agains the change, I was following the thread<br>
for a while and how it's time that I should step in.<br>
I'v managed to build a *HUGE* konqui costume ( 25kgs of material ),<br>
and it was used for just one year, if we change the mascott now, I<br>
