I'm a drupal ignoramus, but I imagine there are the pleb level accounts for 
editors such as ourselves and then admin accounts that should allow the stuff 
Mike suggested to get set up.

Tagging is probably nicer than categories because a lot of things won't fit 
neatly in to one category.
