Hi,

the University of Göttingen in Germany has an annual
student-organized event they call "Studentische Infor-
matik-Tage", which roughly translates to "Information
technology days for students". They consist of guest
lectures, workshops and other IT-related activities.

They're currently looking for guest speakers for next
year's event, and Dmitry Gubenko from the organiza-
tion team has approached me about the possibility of
someone from the KDE project speaking about how such
a large open source project manages itself, i.e. its
organization structure and processes. A general intro-
duction of KDE would also be welcome.

German speakers would be preferred, but an English
lecture would also be welcome. The exact dates haven't
been set yet, but it would be at some point in May '08.
