How will these be updated? I know the person's page you mentioned you would 
handle, but what about the rest?

Do to schedules, whatever, spreadkde.org has been without some needed 
affection, to no real fault of anyone's.  However, noting the relative 
success of developernew.kde.org, perhaps someone could spearhead a final move 
to Drupal with editing capabilities for those associated with the text team 
(as appropriate of course).

I've often found the more distributed the responsibilities, the more likely 
the work to continue when something eats away at the primary maintainer's 
time.
