The Conference in Paris were conferences where you had to pay to come and we
were not invited. The desktop oriented conferences were very few and spoke
about deployment of OpenOffice for Windows. It is happening in French
Administration on a large scale (Police, Gendarmerie, Customs). Linux on the
desktop is still very tough to sell outside our actual user base.

I plan to post a story on the dot about Paris Linux Expo when the pictures
will be online.

Good luck for your conference
Cheers,
Charles
