Do you really think computers are shipped with Windows because manufacturers 
think that for their customers Windows provides the better applications? You 
can't be so naive. Microsoft has a long tradition of pressing manufacturers 
to bundle their hardware with Windows by all kind of arguments, be it legal 
or illegal.
