check this out, the EFF is now accepting car donations.  why not kde 
e.V.?  or kde-nl or kde-us or kde-fr or ...

Another idea: there is a company that offers a phone plan with the 
following feature:

- get 25 or more people to switch to their phone plan and specify the 
same organization for donations (kde-us??), then 10% of phone bills 
goes to that organization.  

The rates are not the cheapest, but they are competitive.
