Charles,

I wasn't clear on that, but I am definitly not going to register *the name*
KDE in the Netherlands, just the organisation. I spoke on the dutch KDE
mailinglist (take notice Bas) about a name. I suggested "KDE Benelux" as I
had the idea to have the Wallon-part of Belgium and also Luxembourg included
in this entity.

The idea of creating an entity for 3 countries is because you have a larger
workfield. For example, does anyone know if some KDE people are going to this
event --> http://www.linuxday.lu/lxd_home_frame.html  ?

I asked some people on the linux.lu mailinglist and they said they don't know
any Luxembourg KDE-people there who are doing some promotional stuff. (say
attending that event)

Back to the naming of an organisation ... I know some sentiments on the dutch
mailinglist for the suggested naming and they do not really agree with me.
Also they foresee to much work for the dutch KDE ppl for keeping a Luxembourg
website up-to-date. And indeed they are right about that, I need to have a
KDE-person in Luxembourg for that who has feeling with the local events.

Also the discussion on the dutch mailinglist was about the website +
organisation. I want to "reopen" the discussion but then only about the
organisation ... should this be beyond language-boundaries ? (think:
communication)

Like to hear the opinion about such an entity for the 3 countries (BE/NL/LU)
and or if I should stick to a dutch and flemish speaking KDE community?

We need to talk to KDE-France for french promo-material when a 3 country
entity is preferred.
