I don't think they were gossiping about "the others"(whoever They may be), 
more trying to figure out what article this guy read that was critical of 
Ximian...  Now, admittedly I got bored about half-way through, but he seemed 
to be praising Ximian for not doing incredibly obnoxious things(things that 
have kept me from installing GNOME, it *did* take over my default desktop 
last time I tried to install it....)....
