That's ok for people in Germany, but money orders inside Europe are pretty
expensive, people in the US might feel uncomfortable sending money checks and
people in other parts of the world will not be able to donate money at all.
Actually I don't really see a reason against something like a paypal account.
Users could still donate money to KDE e.V. directly from within Germany and
send money checks inside the US, but others would finally be able to donate
money using their credit cards.
Of course the best contribution to KDE is coding and testing, but with Linux
ready for the Desktop, there will be more and more users who are not able/not
willing to program or test KDE.
