That's ok for people in Germany, but money orders inside Europe are pretty expensive, people in the US might feel uncomfortable sending money checks and people in other parts of the world will not be able to donate money at all. Actually I don't really see a reason against something like a paypal account. Users could still donate money to KDE e.V. directly from within Germany and send money checks inside the US, but others would finally be able to donate money using their credit cards. Of course the best contribution to KDE is coding and testing, but with Linux ready for the Desktop, there will be more and more users who are not able/not willing to program or test KDE. - -- _____________________________________________________________________ Oliver Strutynski oliver.strutynski@cs.tum.edu olistrut@gmx.net -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE77/s8uUAlUEFqtKYRApJZAJ9tAJEvKJ/5fOORT8+90rH0LNHs5ACeJsKk Y73mt2dGjBiIq9DEPGMGz7E= =Lzjn -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
