That's ok for people in Germany, but money orders inside Europe are pretty 
expensive, people in the US might feel uncomfortable sending money checks \
and  people in other parts of the world will not be able to donate money at \
all.  Actually I don't really see a reason against something like a paypal \
account.

Users could still donate money to KDE e.V. directly from within Germany and \
 send money checks inside the US, but others would finally be able to \
donate  money using their credit cards.

Of course the best contribution to KDE is coding and testing, but with \
Linux  ready for the Desktop, there will be more and more users who are not \
able/not  willing to program or test KDE.
