In KOrganizer (and kde pim in general) we have far larger problems than using 
a MV approach for a detail like the date matrix...  The whole KOrganizer is 
an ideal candiate for a MV approach, but unfortunately I don't have any time 
left for coding, and there is no one else doing it, either...
