This didn't help. The only thing that helped was to switch from cached imap 
to "real" imap. On the client side the sender and recipient are "unknown" and 
the subject is "unknown", too. 

It seems that this is somehow related to the bug 
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54834

But I don't know if the Maildir issue comes in here. The symptoms are very 
similar. I'm really struck because the bug report says that this has been 
fixed.
