Before you do that, can you please send me the config files in private mail:
~/.kde/share/config/kresources/
~/.kde/share/config/korgacrc
~/.kde/share/config/korganizerrc
~/.kde/share/config/kontactrc
~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc

(And please remove the password lines from the files in kresources/*/*rc)

I'd really like to find out what's the cause of these problems, which I have 
never been able to reproduce.
