I developed the IrMCSync konnector for kitchensync that is present in 
kdebluetooth. Kitchensync has a great potential as it can perfectly integrate 
in kdepim but IMHO it doesn't have enought developers (and I have very poor 
time to work on the konnector).

There was a talk on this ML 2 weeks ago about starting using freedesktop 
opensync project for kde, but I don't know if a final decision was reached.

If opensync will be used and the devs are ok, maybe it'll better (also if sad) 
to drop all the work in kitchensync and its konnectors and start joining the 
opensync project. 
I'd be happy to ear an answer from Cornelious, Holger and all the other 
kitchensync developers on their ideas.
