Through some personal troubles I was - well... "disabled".
But I'm near to finish (a fisrt version of) the D'n'D of events/todos on 
resources. Adding the box in the editor should be rather easy then

One more idea than came to my mind: How about a "default-template" (a 
template that is used for every new event/todo)? This way every user could 
set his/her default-event which has enabled/disabled alarm (-times), 
default resource, default ...
This would make KOrganizer more customizable, but wouldn't bloat the config.
