I'm looking for that kind of page ... well .. i found it now ... :-)

1°) My USB hardware is OK
(My first message told i have an USB modem working very well on it )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"tail -f /var/log/messages" gives this :

Jul 24 15:17:52 darkstar kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:10.1-2, assigned
addre ss 16
Jul 24 15:17:52 darkstar kernel: Manufacturer: Palm, Inc.
Jul 24 15:17:52 darkstar kernel: Product: Palm Handheld
Jul 24 15:17:52 darkstar kernel: SerialNumber: PalmSN12345678

2°)
pilot-xfer -p /dev/tts/0 -L

   Listening to port: /dev/tts/0

Please press the HotSync button now...

( and then nothing whatever i do ... all a just have is to Ctrl-c because it
stays like this ... )

Is there a way to have a debug output ?
