The problem is, the resource framework was changed after kde 3.1 came out. As 
it is really important for the conduits to work with the framework, compiling 
the conduits from CVS HEAD requires you to have kdelibs also from CVS HEAD 
(the version that will be released as kde 3.2). Unfortunately I don't know a 
way to make the conduits compile and work with any kdelibs 3.x version...
