Hey, I didn't that Klaus had put up the workshop on the korganizer site.

It probably would. In fact, could you look the the log file (probably 
in ~/.xsession-errors) and see if there's anything there already? The
default settings should give at least a little debug info.

But could you first try rc6? In rc5, an empty response 
from the server (no appointments in the given period of time) was
regarded
as an error. There are also some improvements in the configuration -
rc6 lets you the the mailbox URL directly.
